SADA-E-HAQ: A RESEARCH AND CRITICAL ANALYSIS OF AN EARLY NEWSPAPER OF MULTAN

Abstract

Arshad Multani is a distinguished personality of literature. He got fame because of his progressive ideology. He was an enlightened Poet. By profession, he was one of the famous herbalists of Multan. He was a congressional personality. Fame of Multan is synonymous with the heat, the spiritualism and the cemeteries. The ancient civilization and culture of this city is considered one of the oldest one on the globe. Multan is proverbial for tis love and friendliness and Arshad Multani was a practical example of it. ثبات is the only poetic collection of this great poet. He also created poetic verses in sweet regional language Seraiki (سرائیکی). Although this poetic work in Seraiki language got published in different newsletters and magazines yet not in the form of a book. It is also known little that he started a newspaper tilted as "Sada e Haq". This research includes the Journalistic analysis of his diction as well. In the study of the history of journalism in Multan the study of "Sada i Haq" proves benficial from many angels. This research includes many aspects of Politics, culture, Literature and Sociology. This research paper may prove significant for the lovers of Multani culture, consuetude and literature.
